Council Activities


M.R. Drive- October 2007-More than $55,000.00 raised for the Gateway Center of Pacific Grove and the Special Olympics of the Monterey Peninsula. DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PROGRAM: In our drives from 1988 to 2007 we have donated the following: GATEWAY CENTER: $51,130.19 SPECIAL OLYMPICS: $7,612.63. Donations are accepted all year.

Monterey County Fair Booth- Every August the council operates a food booth at the county fairgrounds. This is a six (6) day event to raise funds for our many projects.

Thanksgiving and Christmas food Baskets- The council accepts canned goods during the months of November and December and delivers the same to Saint Vincent DePaul for distribution to the needy

Blood Drive-Twice a year the council organizes a blood drive through the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The drive is held at the San Carlos Cathedral parking lot on the corner of Figueroa and Webster St. Monterey.
